Join us for the 2025 Appalachian Adventure!

Scouts SA are providing Branch members the opportunity of a lifetime! Join us between 3-21 July 2025 to have a true American summer experience, featuring a core camp experience at the world famous Summit Bechtel Reserve (site of the 2019 World Scout Jamboree). 

Note: the dates of this trip mean that youth participants will miss a minimum of 3 days at school.

This trip will kick off with a sight-seeing tour of New York City and Washington DC. Our time at Summit Bechtel Reserve will be spent doing the Summit Experience or Pack 'n Paddle program (please indicate your preference when registering).

Indicative cost of this trip is $9,000 AUD. This will include all meals, accommodation, activities, flights, etc

A deposit of $650 will be due on the 30th of September. Invoices will be issued in the coming weeks. A full payment schedule can be found in the Trip Outline.

Lastly, we have a minimum number of participants required to ensure this adventure happens. Help us out by telling your friends and Unit about this opportunity!
