BWG21CT01 - Scouts | Terrain
The Bushwalking Team Continuation Training (CT) program, provides presentations for Adventurous Activities Leaders, wishing to obtain further insight and understanding of the topic subject area.
Scouts | Terrain is the digital system developed by Scouts Australia to complement the Program delivery. It assists with tracking personal progression, unit programming and also facilities the Adventurous Journey Activity Plans, and Logbooks.
In this CT session by Jarrod Sharp, BC OAS, we will have a quick overview of the system at a high level, and then deep dive into items relevant for Activity Leaders: Planning and/or Mentoring Adventurous Journeys (including Activity Plans, Route Cards, Risk Assessments and Minimal Impact Plan templates etc), together with the Logbook functionality for recording Outdoor Adventure activities.
You will be able to join the meeting from 19:00. Any Bushwalking Team and general Adventurous Activities business matters will take place at 19:15. Our guest speaker will commence the presentation at around 19:30.
